New Crochet Pattern Book

I have a big announcement for you!

Ready?
The new book is here!
Did you guess that is what I was going to say?

I worked for over six months developing the patterns for this book. I only included the best ones. I was able to come up with many fresh ways to use the Sharp Crochet Hook. I think you will all be happy when you get it! I am so happy with how it turned out!

You can order it here: http://sharpcrochethook.com/order-crochet-hooks.html

Introducing the Sharp Crochet Hook Pattern Book:

Here is the Sharp Crochet Hook and Pattern Book Combo Pack in it's awesome packaging (the plastic opens and closes so it can be reused).

It also has a hang hole so retailers will be happy. This picture isn't that great, but it gives you an idea.

There are 18 unique crochet patterns in the book. Here is a sampling:

Sharp Crochet Hook Pattern Book (p. 6) The Sharp Crochet Hook easily crochets through knit and denim!

Sharp Crochet Hook Pattern Book (p.13)  Easily embellish a tank top with this beautiful pattern.

Sharp Crochet Hook Pattern Book (p.15)  Transform a pair of men's dress socks into these boot socks. Would be an excellent Christmas gift for a friend or daughter! And it only takes about an hour!

Sharp Crochet Hook Pattern Book (p.8)  Embellish a pair of everyday one size fits all gloves with this flower. Would be an excellent Christmas gift for a girl!

Sharp Crochet Hook Pattern Book (p.7)  These baby shoes are great because you crochet the upper part directly into faux-leather. The sole is much more durable than the traditional "baby-booties."

Sharp Crochet Hook Pattern Book (p.9)  Make a children's room name plate! So quick, easy, and cute!

Sharp Crochet Hook Pattern Book (p.12)  Use a kitchen towel or bandana and make a really cute apron! This would be a great Christmas or Birthday gift idea!

Sharp Crochet Hook Pattern Book (p.18)  Crochet an edging on ribbon to make a really great looking bracelet! Another great quick gift idea!

Sharp Crochet Hook Pattern Book (p.5)  Crochet an edging on a bandana. This would be so cute for Girl's Camp!

Sharp Crochet Hook Pattern Book (p.11)  The Sharp Crochet Hook goes through flannel so easily. This pattern shows you how to crochet around 5 double layer strips of flannel to create this stripe blanket. You use the Sharp Crochet Hook and crochet thread to make the first layer, then you use normal worsted weight yarn and a larger hook to make the scallop edge.

I hope you guys enjoy the book!

Free Printable Merry Christmas Label

Print out the label template below. Use the blank one if you want to use the stamp, or use the one with Merry Christmas printed on it if you don't have the stamp.

Step 2: Use the Sharp Crochet Hook to crochet edgings.

Do this by doing two single crochet stitches on each fold line, leaving a 3/16" space from edge of paper. Do this across paper. Turn and then make the shells by doing the following all in the next stitch: dc, ch 1, dc, ch1, dc, ch1, dc, ch 1, dc. There should be 5 dc with a ch in between each one. So do a shell, sk 1, sc, sk 1, shell. Do this all the way across. Tie off, cut, and tape end to back. Repeat for each paper.

For the star, mark 5 evenly spaced dots around Pale Yellow circle. Single crochet in each dot 3 times. Tie off, cut, and tape ends to back of circle.

Step 3: Add the finishing touches.

Stamp and emboss Merry Christmas to the white cardstock. Cut out and tape to green tag (see above template). Add pearl stickers to sides.

Ink the sides of Quick Sand paper with the cocoa chalk ink block.

Add the brad to the star and attach to top tier. Adhere the Christmas Tree layers in place using hot glue.

You're done!

Let me know if you would like to see more embellished card patterns! :)

Happy Crocheting!

New marketing materials

I am super excited because I just signed up for a booth at the What a Woman Wants show at the South Towne Expo Center in Sandy, UT in Dec. I need to have something to hand people at our booth and put in the door bags so I thought postcards would be good.

I just sent the following designs to get printed (2 sided postcards)...

What do you think? There is a "bleed" so the outside 1/8" will actually be cut off. That's why the top and bottom don't really look centered.

Wish me luck at the Expo!
